mix of heritage and contemporary<\/p>\n

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_orientation=”justified” global_colors_info=”{}”]The history of this apartment is a reference to the past, while being a contemporary architecture. Our first intervention was to restore the original attributes of the apartment: moldings and parquet floors.<\/p>\n

The distribution in the space is contemporary. A central generating geometry is imposed: it delimits the entrance, the bedroom, the kitchen and hides the intimate spaces, bathroom and toilet. The central core is a precious jewel box, a secret cabinet, dressed with concealed walls. <\/p>\n

The mirrors play a decorative role but also offer a diverted vision of the past. They disturb our sensations, modify the perspectives, play on our perception. I cross the space and I slide from the past to the present by the game of mirrors. The materials are reflective, in shades of gray, and accentuate this kinetic architecture.<\/p>\n

To accentuate this relationship to the past, the founding base is made of herringbone parquet and the contemporary furniture floats in the space. The library is inspired by the organ of the Saint Eustache Church and the shifted partition of the mirrors, disturb our look.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_text_color=”#800769″ header_3_font=”|600|||||||” header_3_text_color=”#800769″ header_3_font_size=”18px” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n
