From domestic spaces to the city, a useful, adaptable, and responsible architecture where quality of use becomes the primary lever for environmental performance.
Manifesto
“Our projects echo a sensitive, musical world, offering users sensory experiences that enrich daily life.”
The FirmL'agence
Founded in 2006, Olivier Palatre Architects develops a demanding and committed architectural practice. We design projects of various scales and programs, from design to the delivery of complex facilities and buildings for both public and private clients.
The uniqueness of our architecture lies in its ability to produce spaces designed first and foremost for use: modular, adaptable, and reversible, capable of adjusting to evolving practices and changing lifestyles.La singularité de notre architecture réside dans sa capacité à produire des espaces pensés avant tout pour l'usage : modulables, évolutifs et réversibles, capables de s'adapter aux pratiques et aux transformations des modes de vie.
Flagship Project: Quai Deschamps
At the heart of the Bastide Niel ZAC in Bordeaux, France, the Quai Deschamps school complex stands out as an iconic public facility, open to the Garonne landscape.
The building features an expressive and luminous volumetric design in concrete, rhythmically paced by large openings. Conceived as a true place of learning and living, it brings together a nursery school.
