POLLYONNAY HOUSE

POLLYONNAY HOUSE

modern concrete construction
preservation of topography

The house is composed of three simple volumes. The first, rather vertical, sinks into the earth and frames the entrance. The second, parallel to the contour lines, houses the bedrooms. The third, dominating the two others, contains the reception and living rooms. The house is accessed from the north. Inside, the intimate spaces are below the slope, separated from the reception areas. The intimate spaces are not visible from the road.

The bedrooms face east and the play area faces west.
The reception areas dominate the slope and project the gaze of the inhabitants into the landscape of the Monts du Lyonnais.

We have installed a rainwater recovery system. Solar panels are harmoniously integrated on the ground near the garden shed and will allow energy savings.
